DSTILL, a small-batch spirits showcase that launched in Denver in 2013 returns from September 21 to September 24. The festival brings together booze makers, bartenders, other industry professionals, plus of course consumers for tasting events, specialty cocktails, pop-up bars, and educational workshops.
The event kicks of Wednesday, September 21 with the DSTILL Rocks On concert on Colfax Avenue. On Friday, the Showcase is back with tastings from top distilleries and cocktails crafted by the minds of the Colorado Bartenders Guild. Other signature events including the American Whiskey 201 workshop and meet-the-make panel discussions are slated to return.
"For the industry, fall is a much anticipated time of year. There's so much excitement and many amazing things happening around craft beer, of course. We are also in the heart of harvest season. It's a bountiful time with much to celebrate. And, now we can add DSTILL to that list," said celebrated distiller Todd Leopold of Leopold Bros.
Details on venues, contributors, and workshops will be announced this summer and will be announced on the festival's website as they become available.
