Noodle emporium Sera's Ramen Enclave is now open at 3472 West 32nd Avenue in the Highland. The former home of Bang! was stripped down and turned into a clean and simple noodle shop with white walls, barn wood accents, and a couple of community tables.
A family business owned by Sera Nguyen along with her husband and mother, the new eatery draws culinary influences not only from Japan but also from Vietnam and Korea. On the menu, there are five kinds of ramen with the Flavorsome one being a signature. Appetizers include duck sliders, grilled quail on a skewer, and blaze grilled oysters, and among the specials are duck fried rice, garlic curry yakisoba, and spring rolls. Sake, beer, and cocktails complement the food.
Sera's serves lunch from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and dinner from 5 to 10 p.m. on Tuesdays through Sundays.
