LONGMONT — Goodbird Kitchen kicks off summer with a patio party on the lawn on Saturday, June 18. Kevin Watson will provide the music from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. while Chef Mike Nirenberg will grill barbecue all afternoon long. Specials include chargrilled barbecued chicken.
LODO — Cook Street schools in the art of entertaining with a wine and cheese pairing class on Saturday. Grill, pan fry, and smoke different cheeses, and learn the tricks to pairing them with wine. BERKELEY — The Tennyson Summer Street Rumpus and Paella Party kicks off at noon and continues all day Saturday at A Call to Arms Brewery. Local vendors include Biscotti Hound Dog Biscuit Bakery and The Funky Trunk. A variety of exclusive and rumpus-inspired brews will be announced while MAS KAOS will provide the pans of paella. FIVE POINTS — Fort Greene Bar takes it back to high school and gives former wallflowers a chance to make prom their own on Saturday. The Fort Greene Prom starts at 8 p.m., and photographer Enrique Padilla will be on-site for photos that you may or may not send back to mom.
