In its fifth year, the Wine at the Mine party, an event created and hosted by urban winery the Infinite Monkey Theorem, proved itself to be, once again, the hottest by-invite only event surrounding the FOOD & WINE Classic in Aspen.
Some 850 guests attended, some of them shuttled up in brand new hot Teslas or a variety of limos. Smuggler's Mine, an active silver mine, was the sight of the shindig that spotlighted some of Denver's best chefs and bartenders from 12 restaurants. Among the highlights, a tequila vending machine, oysters by Seattle Fish served by the RiNo Yacht Club, bites from Abejas, and beers from Oskar Blues. Plus, of course, a lot of Infinite Monkey Theory wine, red, white, rose, sparking or not. Bonus: Chef Kelly Whitaker of Basta teased guests with his new project Aeshes/15B with a variety of spiedini.
