Chuey Fu's, a food truck that fuses Mexican and Korean flavors, has opened a brick and mortar location at 1131 Santa Fe Drive, Westword reported. Set in a space that was previously occupied by Nate's Crown Liquors, the eatery owned by Joe Knoblich is homey and comfortable with a neighborhood cantina feel to it.
Offerings on the menu have grown now that more than a mobile kitchen is available. Proteins like Korean beef, char shu pork, or ahi tuna are available in tacos, burritos or rice bowls. There are a variety of appetizers, soups, salads and some desserts served for lunch and dinner Monday through Saturday. Brunch service with a different menu is available on Saturday and Sunday.
