Harvest by Kelly Liken Now Open in Edwards

The James Beard Award nominee has opened her newest concept in the Sonnenalp Club near Beaver Creek

A year after closing her eponymous restaurant in Vail, chef Kelly Liken has opened her newest concept.

Harvest by Kelly Liken debuts this month in the Sonnenalp Club near Beaver Creek.

Liken's seasonal American fare includes dishes such as Smoked Rocky Mountain Trout and Leg of Lamb with a chickpea mash, sautéed spinach, pickled fresno chili, and carrot salad. The menu is accompanied by a full cocktail and beverage program.

The restaurant was designed by Oz Architecture and includes an outdoor terrace with views over the country club and Rocky Mountains.

Last spring, Liken and husband and business partner Rick Colomitz closed their 11-year Vail Restaurant Kelly Liken. Liken continued to work with local and national food events; she has appeared on Top Chef as well as Iron Chef America.

Harvest is one of many of the Sonnenalp Club's recent additions, including a 10,000-square-foot health and fitness facility that also opens this month.
