Where to Get Your Fix for Negroni Week

From now until June 12, Negroni Week is in full swing. Some of these bars are donating $1 for each Negroni sold to charities like the Conscious Alliance, Children's Hospital of Colorado Foundation, and Water for People.

HOP ALLEY

Bartender manager Kamuran Mataraci mixes a mean classic Negroni but his variation, the Monkey is a must. The drink includes soju and sesame for an Asian twist to the classic gin-vermouth-Campari combination.

THE NICKEL

In addition to its barrel-aged Negroni, The Nickel is also a Negroni-inspired dessert. Guests can enjoy orange-juniper sponge cake served in a rocks glass with Campari "styrofoam," vermouth ice cubes and a freeze-dried tangerine. $1 from the sale of each cocktail or dessert will go directly to the American Cancer Society.

THE RINO YACHT CLUB

The bar located in the center of the Source in RiNo is featuring variations like the Gardener's Negroni made with fennel pollen, elderflower, Jura White, Suze, and Cognac.

Bonus: This is one of only two places where guests can find the New Belgium Negroni beer.

CUCINA COLORE

An institution of Italian cuisine, this Cherry Creek restaurant is featuring fascinating Negroni variations like the Strawberry Shrub Negroni and the Sparkling Sangria Negroni.

THE GREEN RUSSELL

This award-winning bar in Larimer Square partnered with Pablo's Coffee to create the first ever Negroni-aged coffee bean. 135 lbs. of unroasted beans were aged in a Negroni barrel, then roasted, and packaged. Buy them at Pablo's locations and Green Russell. This week, the bar is also offering a cold brew Negroni cocktail

THE WAY BACK

A new hot spot in Denver, the Way Back is bringing its Negroni game to raise money for Water for People. A happy hour is hosted on Tuesday, June 7 from 4 to 7 in honor of the celebratory week, but you can order your Negroni all week long.

Disclosure: The editor is married to one of the developers behind The Source, the development in which the Yacht Club resides.
