Though not quite the ice cream truck you might remember from your childhood, Tillamook will roll up to Port Side, the new spinoff of Huckleberry Roasters, Friday morning to serve Denver fans free cones and cups.
Served out of a mini bus, the brand's new line includes on-the-go ice cream, gelato, and frozen custard with layers of decadent flavor and artisan ingredients, such as Stumptown Cold Brew Coffee, California pistachios, and Oregon marionberries.
The specific varieties are an Oregon Marionberry Cheesecake Frozen Custard with sweet mascarpone frozen custard, an Oregon marionberry swirl, and pieces of graham cracker crust; Stumptown Cold Brew Ice Cream; and California Pistachio Gelato.
The first 100 people to line up will also receive free ice-cream koozies. Port Side will give guests $2 espresso shots and $7 to $10 breakfast sandwiches featuring Tillamook's vintage extra sharp white cheddar.
This is the most recent on multiple Colorado tour stops for the Tillamook team. Last time they stopped in Denver was July 1 for the First Friday Art Walk on Santa Fe Drive.
