Tickets are now available for the Three Forks Progressive Farm Dinner, the second installment of a summer and fall series in Fort Collins.
The event on Aug. 21 will take place across three Fort Collins farms: Wooly Goat, Slainte, and Hope. Attendees are encouraged to ride bikes between their dinner courses served at each farm.
Held across local family farms and benefiting various nonprofits, the dinners put on by Fortified Collaborations kicked off Sunday with a Heart of Summer Dinner on Happy Heart Farm.
Sunday's event benefitted Happy Heart's Feeding The Families program, which provides families in need with fresh, local, and organic food through discounted CSA shares. Chef Oskar Arevalo of Fish Restaurant created a four-course menu paired with beers from Equinox Brewing.
Tickets to Three Forks and information on future dinners are available on Fortified's website. Upcoming events include the Mishawaka 100 Year Harvest Dinner, celebrating the centennial of the famed mountain amphitheatre; the Jax Harvest Moon Salmon Bake, with food by Jax Fish House; and the Bounty & Brews Beer Dinner featuring multiple Northern Colorado chefs, held in October.
