Part market, part deli, part restaurant, and part music venue, The Preservery in RiNo has made waves in the Downtown dining scene for its industrial yet classic American vibes and contemporary flavors. See what the online community is saying about the trendy new spot.

The Service News: While most Facebook reviewers enjoy the establishment's food and overall concept, a lack of cohesive and accommodating service irks some customers. According to one reviewer, the service she received was "seriously lacking....This was my second visit and we gave The Presevery a free pass the first time... we had to get up twice out of our seats to walk and find a waitress just to take our dinner order. When it finally came, one dish was missing as we all sat for the second experience of letting our food get cold." [Facebook]

The Appetizer News: William Porter at The Denver Post applauds the "winning" array of appetizers. Particular favorites include a "terrific" octopus dish balanced by a sauce of smoked tomato, capers, garlic, and basil. "No matter how generous you are dunking it in the sauce, you'll have plenty of the tomatoey goodness for the grilled baguette slices accompanying it." [Denver Post]

The Rising Star in RiNo News: Many reviewers online celebrate The Preservery's addition to the neighborhood. According to one reviewer, the new spot adds "a new feeling to the neighborhood. It gives a new name to the hometown bar and restaurant... The menu and bar change seasonally [sic] I can't wait to see what else this place has to offer! The restaurant/bar embodies what the RiNo neighborhood is." [Yelp]

The No-Tipping News: The restaurant has factored in a tip on each menu item, which surprises but doesn't bother most diners. One reviewer on Yelp cited the model as a "surprising pro" while another simply stated that they "[l]ove their no tipping model," which maintains prices that, comparatively, are "still reasonable."
