A semi-truck on Wednesday nearly flew off the side of an Interstate 70 overpass, spilling around 60,000 pounds of beer onto I-25 below.
The truck was transporting expired Miller Genuine Draft, 9News reports. The crash happened at around 6 p.m Wednesday, with the truck saved by the catch-fence on the I-70 overpass, but the beer tumbling down onto I-25, causing the ramp from eastbound I-70 to northbound I-25 to close for multiple hours.
No one was injured in the crash, according to 9News, and it was not immediately clear whether the driver of the truck, owned by Iron Woman Construction, would be cited.
Iron Woman Construction transports dirt, construction debris, and recycling material, as well as expired beer to be recycled.
