You Can Become a Cliff Diver at Casa Bonita

A once in a lifetime opportunity

Casa Bonita
Casa Bonita
The Rooster

An icon of all things kitschy and outrageous, the popular 42 year old Casa Bonita is seeking diving talent. In 2015, the 85-foot pink tower set in Lakewood became a historical landmark and its stage shows, musicians, arcade, and positively packed gift shop continued to attract locals and tourists alike. One of the reasons guests come in (no one comes for the food save for maybe the sopapillas) is the 30-foot waterfall and the team of cliff divers. It is that diving team that is holding auditions now and anyone, maybe inspired by the current summer games in Rio, can schedule a try-out.

If you made the cut, you'd get to work in the enormous quirky Mexican-themed restaurant that can seat over 1,000 guests. Because of its general absurdity- it is part-festival, part-Mexican restaurant, part-Disney-like environment - Casa Bonita was featured on a 2003 South Park episode.
