Latin American darling Maria Empanada will grow in early September with a location at 8000 East Belleview Avenue, in the Belleview Promenade shopping center, Westword reported. This will be the second outpost of the business owned by chef Lorena Cantarovici, with the first one set at 1298 South Broadway.
Guests at the soon-to-open shop will get to sample varieties of empanadas, including breakfast empanadas and tartitas, and will enjoy an identical lunch menu as that at the original. That includes salad options, Spanish tortillas (a cousin of the quiche), and a sweets menu that alone makes a visit worth it. A European fresh orange juice press will be added to the upcoming spot.
Later this fall, Maria Empanada will open an additional location inside the highly anticipated Stanley Marketplace. Other tenants at he soon-to-launch Aurora spot include Rosenberg Bagels & Delicatessen, Comida Cantina, the Denver Biscuit Company, and
