Sour-Focused Wicked Weed Is Available in Denver Starting Today

This is a big deal for beer geeks

Craft Beer Raleigh

North Carolina cultish brewhouse Wicked Weed Brewing is launching its presence in the Denver market starting today by hosting tap takeovers at several beer bars.

Fans of the four year old Asheville brewery will be able to enjoy a variety of sour and mixed culture farmhouse ales in bottles and limited draught. Consumers can also expect to see some of Wicked Weed's hoppy offerings from their Production Facility, although eighty percent of the beer entering the market will come from the brewery's sour program.

Here's where you can get your Wicked Weed fix:

Tuesday, August 16: Falling Rock, starting at 5 p.m.
Wednesday, August 17 at The Mayor from 6 to 8 p.m.
Thursday, August 18 at Backcountry Pizza, starting at 5 p.m.
Friday, August 19 at Freshcraft starting at 7 p.m.
Saturday, August 20 at Hops & Pie, starting at 12 p.m.

Among other honors, Wicked Weed Brewing was awarded a gold medal for both 100% Brettanomyces Serenity in 2013, Mompara Honey Ale in 2014, and a silver medal for Pernicious IPA in 2015 at the Great American Beer Festival.
