The almost thirteen month life of Osaka Ramen Cherry Creek will come to an end on Saturday, August 20. The Japanese noodle shop located at 2817 E 3rd Avenue will close but its original location in RiNo will remain unaffected.
"We'd like to thank all those who dined with us over the past year, and let you know how much we appreciate your support," said chef and owner Jeff Osaka. "We also wanted you to know that Osaka Ramen RiNo will still be there for you to fill that void. It was a tough decision, but with the changing landscape of Cherry Creek, and as our company prepares for growth, we felt it best to focus our efforts on the future," he continued.
Osaka, along with business partner Jesus Silva, is in the process of getting Silva's Fish Market off the ground. The seafood business, which will open inside the Denver Central Market (2669 Larimer Street), will sell oysters on the half shell, house-made ceviches, and tostadas, in addition to a selection of fresh fish. Silva's will share its space with ten other vendors, from restaurants to an artisan meats and cheese store, a bakery, and a chocolate shop. Osaka also operates Sushi Rama, a popular conveyor-belt-centric sushi spot in RiNo.
