Earlier this month, the space that once housed Genessee Coffee located at 12th and Madison reopened its doors with a new tenant: Downpours Coffee.

A second location for the Tennyson Street original, the new coffee shop serves the full range of expected coffee drinks, brewed with beans from local roaster Novo and Sweet Bloom. In addition to that, guests will find house-made breakfast burritos, house-baked pastries including plain and chocolate croissants, cold press juices in at least two varieties, and more. There is free wi-fi, plenty of comfy tables and plugs for laptops or phones, and a fantastic patio.
