The premier brew-centric event in the country, the Great American Beer Festival sold out in 67 minutes, the Denver Post reported. Tickets went on sale on Wednesday, August 3 at 10 a.m. through Ticketmaster and were all gone by 11:07 a.m. This is 10 minutes faster than last year when all tickets vanished in 77 minutes.
Those lucky enough to snag a seat will attend the festivities from October 6 through October 9 at the Colorado Convention Center in Downtown. Both consumers and industry folks get excited for the three-day festival that brings together the beer community. Beer enthusiasts take advantage of the gigantic tasting hall where upwards of 4,000 beers are sampled from over 800 American breweries. Many of those breweries hose vie for one of the highly coveted medals from the Brewers Association, recognizing excellence in a variety of beer-styles.
The total number of attendees for the events includes brewery representatives and the media is 60,000.
