What was only a suggestion back in May has become a reality: Skyline Park is getting a pop-up beer garden starting on Friday, August 19 at 4 p.m. The brew-centric spot will operate through Thursday, September 15 at from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m., weather permitting, in Skyline Park on Arapahoe Street between 16th and 17th Streets.

The Skyline Beer Garden will serve 12 Colorado craft beers on tap in the approximately 40,000 square feet of outdoor area with tented seating. A simple food menu will offer gourmet brats with creative toppings, a house-ground burger, and garden burger, plus three salads, German pretzels with dipping sauces, and kid-friendly fare.

Family-friendly, featuring communal Oktoberfest-style picnic tables, the spot will seat more than 350 guests. Games, including ping pong, a nine-hole miniature golf course and cornhole, as well as live music on Fridays and Saturdays will offers extra reasons to visit.
