Rocker Spirits, owned by Dustin Evans, Patrick Johnson, and Breckenridge Distillery alum Nick Hutch, launched last week in a converted garage at 5587 South Hill Street, BusinessDen reported.
The space, which can accommodate some 60 guests, features car bumpers parked on the walls, steel beams on the bar, and a heavy hook and chain that mimics a chandelier. The look is vintage and industrial and the renovations, which took 18 months, were completed mostly by the ownership team. Bonus: A fun patio provides space for another 30 guests.
Until it gets its distilling game going, Rocker will package and sell the 30 barrels of whiskey, rum, and vodka it purchased from distilleries in Missouri and Minnesota. The same spirits will soon be produced at the Littleton spot.
To start out, the new bar and distillery will serve on Thursday through Sunday from 6 p.m. until midnight. Guests can drink in or buy distinctively-shaped bottles to take home. On Saturday August 27, Rocker Spirits will host a Grand Opening party that will close down the street, featuring live music, drinks, and more.
