Karaoke Palace Voicebox Opens on Friday

Brush up on your favorite songs cause the time has come for karaoke

Evan Faber

Voicebox, the newest tech-savyy karaoke emporium, will open its doors to the public on Friday, September 23 in RiNo at 2601 Walnut Street. Right now, those interested in joining in the fun can make their reservations online.

An Oregon-based company, Voicebox does two very cool things: (1) It offers private karaoke suites - there are ten of them at this new location and some of them can accommodate up to 30 of your closest friends who love your singing; (2) It almost knows and remembers you. Through, a proprietary technology developed by Voicebox CTO Carter Thaxton, guests can make a playlist and favorite songs in advance of their suite reservation. When guests arrive, that list will automatically populate in their suite, where they can control lights and song selection directly from a smartphone.

A central bar in the 4,500 venue offers on-the-go drinks and food is curated by consulting chef Jensen Cummings.

A sneak peek video was posted on Facebook. Here it is:

Voicebox is not the only spot that offers private karaoke rooms; Punch Bowl Social added two of those to its lineup of activities and entertainment over a year ago.
