Just in time to warm up for the Great American Beer Festival, Crazy Mountain Brewing Company is reopening its Denver tap room, located at 471 Kalamath Street, in Baker and close to the Santa Fe Arts District. The Edwards-based brewery is hosting a party at its Mile High City outpost on Saturday, September 24 from 3 p.m. until 8 p.m. Some 24 taps of the Crazy Mountain brews will be available and specials will include $2 year-round styles all night. A major highlight will be a live music performance by Amoramora from 6 to 8 p.m.
The brewery owned by husband and wife team Kevin and Marisa Selvy has been operating its small speakeasy but come this weekend, the larger space will be available for guests. For the time being, food is not served on the premises; a rotating lineup of food trucks will fill that void. Come spring, the kitchen portion of the operation will open.
