LOHI — Hone your coffee art skills this Thursday at Carbon Beverage Cafe & Habit Doughnuts' Shots on Shots Coffee Throwdown. The art competition will pit local baristas and amateur latte artists against one another in bracket-style contest where your canvas is your coffee cup. The $5 buy-in for participants will benefit Grounds for Health, a non-profit aimed at bringing healthcare services to women across developing coffee exporting countries. Stick around for the $7 Dales & Doughnut deal. Sign-up starts at 6:30 p.m. and grounds champions have the chance to win Carbon gift cards or a Acaia Pearl Spark Coffee Scale. DOWNTOWN — Celebrate twenty years of craft beer from Stone Brewing at Freshcraft on Thursday, September 22. Starting at 7 p.m., an array of prized Stone drafts will be available on tap including Stone Wussie and Stone Encore Anniversary IPAs from the brewery's fifth, tenth, and fifteenth birthdays.

RINO — In conjunction with the Narwhal Collective, a graphic and web design company, Black Shirt Brewing relaunches its redesigned six-pack cans on September 23 with an official release party. Expect beer specials, giveaways, and DJ Details on deck. The party rocks on from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m..

FORT COLLINS — The Mainline Ale House hosts a seasonal beer dinner in partnership with Odell Brewing Company to welcome the autumnal season. On Friday, September 23, the event will emphasize the local food and brewery scene will utilizing a number of fall ingredients. The paired dinner is $45 per person and tickets are available online. DOWNTOWN — This Friday, September 23, the History Colorado Center showcases the American distilling experience with select tastings, craft cocktails, workshops, and the opportunity to interact with the industry's top distillers and bartenders. The talented men and women of the Colorado Bartenders Guild will be on deck to craft and create the drinks at the DSTILL Showcase. Tickets to the showcase are available online for $50. LITTLETON —  38 State Brewing Company releases batches of its new, seasonal brews all day long this Friday afternoon until closing time. Stop by for exclusive access to the Dunkelweizen and Mexican Lager beers. Doors open at noon and live music kicks off at 12:30 p.m. with Guillermo "Gii" AstorgaSha-WING food truck will be on-site all day. The event is free and open to the public before 6 p.m. but is limited to 21+ guests and has a $10 cover starting at 6 p.m.

GLENDALE — On Saturday, September 24, Sense of Security hosts its annual fall dinner, Distinctly Colorado: A Farm to Table Experience. The interactive, Western-style event will solely feature locally grown food held in the open and rustic setting at Four Mile Historic Park. The menu will also be paired with Colorado-made spirits, beers, and wines. Okagawa Farms of Grand Junction will provide the produce and proteins while Catering by Design will take care of the cocktails. Tickets to the dinner range from $89 to $150 and are available online. BOULDER — Stop by Boulder icon Avery Brewing this Sunday, September 25, for the release of the tap room exclusive, Scarlata Cucumis Sour Ale. The barrel-aged brew - complete with hints of cucumber - will be available on tap or in a take-home bottle for $12 a person. Each person is limited to one bottle.

GLOBEVILLE — The Dinner Party Association holds its last Denver pop-up dinner of 2016 at Fort Greene Bar on Sunday, September 25. The four-course dinner will highlight vegan ingredients and soul food dishes along with a variety of craft cocktails. Chef Lonni Bird of Love, Peace, & Sol will prepare the farm-to-table dinner menu.
