Sneak Peek: Mizu Aims For Mid-October Opening

The space is being transformed as we speak

If all goes according to plan and there are no further delays, Mizu, a Japanese izakaya will open its doors in LoHi in mid-October. The team has worked hard on getting the space ready, refinishing the floor, redoing the ceiling, adding Japanese-inspired art pieces, and more to the prime space located at 1560 Boulder Street. The spot previously housed Cibo for ten months and Churchill's Public House for a short period of time before that.

Hong Jian Lee, who operates East Moon Asian Bistro & Sushi in Westminster, is the mastermind behind the upcoming project. He originally planned to launch Mizu in the space that houses Sushi Ronin, but is really happy to have finally found a home just  a couple of blocks down.

Below there are images of the new refinished space that will bring sushi, Japanese small plates like skewers and more, and a good sake, beer, and whiskey selection.
