An Italian restaurant born on 6th Avenue, Angelo's Taverna finally launched its second outpost last weekend at at 6885 South Santa Fe Drive in Littleton. Set in a mammoth 10,000 square foot space designed much like a cozy wood-filled mountain lodge, the new eatery serves oysters varieties from the East and West coasts (plus the signature char-grilled oysters), pizzas, pastas, and other small bites along with a wide selection of beer, cocktails, and wine.

Some new items, not available at the original location, are being added for the Littleton guests only. Happy Hour brings $1 premium oysters from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. and then again from 9 p.m. to close daily. Bonus: There is a great patio and TVs where games, like the big football opened tonight, are shown.

Next door, sister concept Carboy Winery is also up and running as of last weekend. It serves Sunday through Tuesday from 2 to 10 p.m. and Wednesday through Saturday from 2 to 11 p.m. with two happy hours every day.
