The Post Chicken & Beer Has Hatched in Denver

Few things go better than fried chicken and a cold beer, which was the idea that restaurateur David Query had when he created the Post with its original side-kick Good Bird Kitchen. The spin-off, Post Chicken & Beer, has opened its first Denver location (there is one in Longmont also) at  2220 South Broadway (between Evans and Iliff) in the Rosedale neighborhood.

If you've had the Post experience, you know that the Colorado-style fried and roasted bird come gluten-free, that the pies are great, and the beer brewed at the original location have won some medals - and for good reason. If you're new to the Post, enjoy the treat and be sure to not miss the chicken and waffles, the fried chicken banh mi, and the green chili mac 'n cheese.

Open for dinner daily to start out, with lunch and brunch being added in the next couple of weeks, the spot is homey and inviting, a feature that includes minimal TVs screens and even an arcade game available.
