In the midst of the ski season, Aspen Kitchen launched Rickhouse Social, a convivial and comfortable gathering spot offering Breckenridge Distillery programs and products designed for whiskey and cocktail lovers. The new venue features the entire line of Breckenridge spirits, including the Breckenridge Bourbon, alongside specialty cocktails crafted by "liquid chef" Billie Keithly.
"Aspen Kitchen is excited to offer a beloved Colorado brand that offers exceptional and award-winning spirits to draw in both visitors and locals alike, while ensuring the same standard of hospitality and quality that Aspen Kitchen delivers with every dish," said Aspen Kitchen executive chef and owner Matt O’Neill. "Our goal is to deliver a unique hospitality experience, one that is built upon exceptional products from a mountain town distillery and a ski-town culinary concept."
The name and space pay homage to the "rickhouse" – a barrel-aging room for freshly distilled spirits – with wood paneled walls, speakeasy-style lighting, and comfortable lounge seating.
Bonus: Those who want to splurge and show off can purchase a personal locker in the lounge -- pre-loaded with a selection of Breckenridge spirits -- plus membership in the distillery’s "Dark Arts Society," which provides first-hand access to a world of rare and exotic spirits, VIP treatment in the lounge, special pricing, and early access to tastings, dinners, and events. The privilege starts at $1,000.
ARickhouse Social is open daily between 6 p.m. and 2 a.m.
