If you love Departure, the Sage Restaurant Group venture that opened in Cherry Creek this summer, it is hard not to be excited for Urban Farmer. The upcoming modern steakhouse announced yesterday that it will launch in LoDo in a space that was until just days ago was home to old-school meat and seafood palace McCormick & Schmick's. The Cruise Room continues to operate undisturbed next door and an outpost of the chain steakhouse remains open in the Denver Tech Center.

Below, find two more renderings of the space designed by Xan Creative, one dominated by cozy elements and materials like leather and wood and a color palette that includes browns and grays and muted blue accents.

Right below those renderings, Urban Farmer shared some food porn. Among the dishes that will make an appearance on the menu at the restaurant there is a steak, a potato casserole, and a cheeseboard.

Urban Farmer is set to start lunch and dinner service in the early summer.
