The last two local outposts of Silvi’s Kitchen shuttered earlier this year and now both locations have home-grown tenants filling the empty spaces.

Pizza Republica took over Silvi’s former Glendale location at 660 S. Colorado Blvd. over the summer to create its third expansion. The Olde Town Arvada site will officially transform into Smokin Fins Grill on Monday, Nov. 6.

Created by Fins Concepts out of Meridian, Idaho, the first Smokin Fins debuted in 2015 in Littleton, Colorado, before launching in Fort Collins and Chandler, Arizona. A sibling restaurant, Lucky Fins Seafood Grill, has been serving in Greely, Colorado, for the last four years.

In Arvada, Smokin Fins will take over the prime corner spot, right on the intersection of 7600 Grandview Ave. and Wadsworth Boulevard and across the street from Homegrown Tap & Dough. The family-friendly project will fill approximately 5,000 square feet of the 8,717-square-foot building.

On the menu overseen by chef Wiley Earl, shareable plates such as pork shank wings, Key lime calamari, and lobster tater tots, plus, a full range of popular sushi rolls, steak and seafood tacos, poke bowls and heartier entrees including a baked lobster mac and cheese, the Berkshire pork osso buco and a seafood paella. The restaurant will also offer a kids’ menu and happy hour deals on sushi and tacos.
