Loyal members of the “Shine tribe” fan base now have a better idea of when they can celebrate the return of Shine Restaurant & Potion Bar, created by triplet founders Jill, Jessica and Jennifer Emich, aka “The Blissful Sisters.”

Launched in 2011 in downtown Boulder, the original restaurant closed in September to make way for the first expansion for Lafayette’s The Post Brewing Co.

The new Shine restaurant is taking shape less than two miles to the west at 2480 Canyon Blvd., inside the former home of Alba and the Volta Mediterranean Restaurant. The Shine team hopes to be ready by late November to mid-December-ish and already plan to add a cocktail bar and garden patio.

The Emich sisters describe this as “a space to nourish from the inside out, to connect, and to build community.” They inlayed rose quartz in the new flooring, where it will emanate “unconditional love, harmony, self forgiveness and acceptance.”

In addition to the famed “hand-crafted herbal healing potions” such as the famed Fairy Bubbles created with “Love,” pomegranate juice, lemon juice, honey, and hibiscus, the dining menu will continue the sisters’ tradition of Paleo-, vegan-, and vegetarian-friendly, farm-to-table comfort food made in a 100 percent gluten-free and GMO-free kitchen.
