Make that four new restaurants headed to southeast Aurora’s Southlands retail hub.
The canine-friendly and Rocky Mountain-inspired casual American menu of Lazy Dog Restaurant & Bar announced its arrival last month, making its first move into Colorado. That restaurant plans to sit and stay a southwest plot at the intersection of East State Avenue and Suoth Central Street, serving breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Bar Louie is close to opening its eighth Colorado expansion, neighboring Buffalo Wild Wings further north and facing the Town Square plaza’s water features. The self-described “hip neighborhood restaurant and bar” is now hiring and almost ready to be serving up sandwiches and artfully created jumbo martinis.
On the other side of the plaza and next door to the Old Chicago Pizza + Tap Room, operators Greg and Karin Jones are already expanding The Lost Cajun from its original Littleton base less than a year after launching a menu of authentic Louisiana favorites. That restaurant plans to open before Thanksgiving week, serving including po’boys, gumbo, etouffee, fried catfish and beignet.
And another quick hop toward the AMC Southlands 16 move theater and next to Bad Daddy's Burger Bar, newcomer The Poke Story is expected to be a build-your-own-poke-bowl venture.
