Zeppelin Station Adds Dandy Lion Coffee to Market Hall Lineup

Culturally diverse, transit station food hall to bring caffeine to commuters

Zeppelin Development

Duc Huynh is ordering a double — that is at Zeppelin Station — where, later this year, he’s set to open a third Vinh Xuong Bakery and newly announced Dandy Lion Coffee, both Vietnamese-inspired.

Earlier this summer, Huynh agreed to bring his Vietnamese banh mi sandwiches to the 100,000-square-foot mixed-use market and work space at the 38th and Blake Station of the RTD commuter rail line. Now, a walk-up counter project fills in another blank in the space, serving espresso-based coffee drinks in unexpected flavors, such as chrysanthemum and pandan, along with a variety of pastries and snacks to-go. Huynh’s family opened their first banh mi shop in Vietnam in 1951, and brought the flavors to Denver in 1980.

This is only the most recent announcement from Zeppelin Development in a string of slow reveals that bring nine national quick-service food and beverage vendors to 3501 Wazee St. The rest of the known collection includes Au Feu, Aloha Poke Co. and Fior Gelato. The rest of the culinary partners will be announced in the weeks and months to come.
