Happy Thanksgiving, Denver. But can it be Christmas already? Just in time for the holiday season, Wayward is capitalizing on the year’s biggest buildup and opening a seasonal popup bar with full-on holiday decorations and puntastic Christmas cocktails (see You’ll Shoot Your Rye Out). Miracle on Little Raven, part of a national traveling bar that started in New York, is now pouring in Denver’s Riverfront Park neighborhood.
Open nightly now through December 30, Miracle promises drinkers a nostalgic music soundtrack, over-the-top Christmas (and Hanukkah) decor, and festively dressed guest bartenders from around the city. Cocktails from the Snowball Old Fashioned to the Bad Santa mulled wine and a Christmopolitan (vodka, elderflower, vermouth, spiced cranberry, rosemary, absinthe) are poured into special glassware, also available for purchase. Part of the proceeds from gift sales will be given to Action Against Hunger, while coats, hats, and boots will be donated to Button & Zipper.
See below for a look inside the popup with Eater photographer Ryan Dearth.
Status: Miracle on Little Raven is now open nightly starting at 6 p.m. (closed on Thanksgiving). Entrance is through Wayward, 1610 Little Raven Street, Suite 100, in Riverfront Park. Reservations are not available, but contact the restaurant for buyouts.
