The Preservery sous chef Dave Hadley will appear on Food Network's Chopped show on Tuesday, February 21. The episode featuring the RiNo chef airs at 8 p.m. Hadley joined the restaurant when it opened almost a year ago at 3040 Blake Street.
A New Jersey native, the chef discovered his love for food early on after spending time in the kitchen with his grandma. A graduate of the Culinary Institute of America, Hadley has worked for many of the state's most esteemed restaurants and chefs, including chef Mark Fischer at Six89 in Carbondale, Steve Redzikowski at Acorn in Denver, and he even helped to open the first Biju's Little Curry Shop.
The Preservery will be closed on the night of the 21st for a viewing party, so the team can proudly cheer him on. Denver foodie fans are invited to stop by from Wednesday, February 22-Friday, February 24 during happy hour (3 to 6 p.m.) and meet chef Dave in-person.
