Construction has finally begun on Kevin Taylor’s newest restaurant, Hickory & Ash. The well-known Denver chef will open the 5,500 square foot restaurant in Westmintser at 8001 Arista Place in partnership with his son, Ryan Taylor, who will serve as Hickory & Ash’s executive chef.
"We’re excited to move beyond our white-tablecloth roots", says Kevin Taylor. "Hickory & Ash will provide a more casual, yet still very chef-driven environment, and we think it will be well-received by those who live, work, play and visit the thriving Arista development."
When it opens in June, Hickory & Ash will serve lunch, dinner and brunch menus that offer a variety of sustainable and locally sourced ingredients; craft cocktails, local beers and an extensive wine list will also be available. The space, designed by Kevin Taylor and architect Riddick Semple, will feature rustic décor, 120 seats, two private dining rooms and a 60-seat outdoor patio.
The restaurant is planned to open in June 2017.
