Look Inside the Finished Clyde, Bar Addition Included

A wine bar, restaurant, and design store replaced French icon Le Central

There is a maturity to Clyde, a venue born in the former home of Le Central, that is unexpected from a restaurant that opened just months ago. A wine bar that also doubles as event space with a modern design store as a complement, Clyde is the brainchild of partners in life and business Christopher Fehlinger and Jon Lipshutz.

The bar area of Clyde just opened, meaning the whole of the former Le Central space is now active. There are 14 seats and two lounge areas and can be accessed through the restaurant or its own (bright orange) door on the corner of Lincoln & 8th Ave.

On the bar menu, served from 4 to 11 p.m. daily, guests will find items like the chicken & waffle sliders and the smoked hummus and flatbread. Off-menu specials make a daily appearance. The bar serves starting at 4 p.m. daily with two happy hours being offered: the first one from 4 to 6 p.m. and a late one from 10 p.m. to close. Eater photographer Adam Larkey took a tour of the finished space and shared these images:
