Burnt Barrel Replaces Tilted Kilt

The seven year old Irish pub gets a makeover

Burnt Barrel

Seven year old spot the Tilted Kilt will soon become Burnt Barrel, Colorado Spirits & Sports. Located at 16th and Lawrence Street, the venue that aims to celebrate Colorado through spirits, sports, culture and cuisine will launch in March. The owners of the Irish pub where waitstaff wore skimpy outfits decided to switch gears and closed on February 5 to rebrand and redesign. Construction is currently pending.

"After seven successful years running Denver’s Tilted Kilt, we decided it was time to ‘un-chain the pub’ by moving towards a concept that showcases and celebrates all that the state has to offer," said Mark Voss, co-owner of Burnt Barrel, Colorado Spirits & Sports. "We want to thank our loyal guests for many years of overwhelming support. It has been a privilege to serve the Denver community including Colorado firefighters, our primary charity partner over the years."

Burnt Barrel open for lunch, happy hour and dinner as well as weekend brunch in the coming months. A new canopied patio will bring an extra reason to visit.
