Bravo’s Top Chef Comes to Colorado

Season 15 will take place in and around Denver

Queen of the Foodage

Colorado had to wait 15 seasons for Top Chef to make its way here but our time has come. Bravo Media announced that production will begin this spring on a new season with a new class of cheftestapants fighting for the big prize and title of Top Chef. The company will film in Denver, Boulder, and Telluride.

The actual show will not launch until later this year. As viewers are accustomed, the series will feature host Padma Lakshmi, head judge Tom Colicchio, along with Gail Simmons and Graham Elliot at the judges table.

"We are always on the hunt for the next great culinary destination and Colorado is fast becoming a hot spot for young chefs and foodies, making it an ideal backdrop for our upcoming season," said Shari Levine, Executive Vice President, Current Production, Bravo Media. "Our new cheftestants will have an abundance of inspiration to pull from as they cook amid the awe-inspiring scenery and explore the bourgeoning culinary scenes from cities to mountain resorts."

The cast of chefs has yet to be announced. Previous participants from Colorado include Hosea Rosenberg of Blackbelly, who actually won Season 5, Kelly Liken of the now-closed Kelly Liken Restaurant who was among the final four in Season 7, and Jennifer Jasinski of Rioja, Bistro Vendome, Euclid Hall, and Stoic & Genuine, who was among the final three of Top Chef Masters in 2013.
