Barman Jason Patz has been a fixture of the Denver cocktail scene for years and his creativity and sharp execution put him at the top of coveted cocktail competitions. After five years at Williams & Graham and a three month sabbatical, Patz is now joining the two year old Union Lodge Nr. 1 as managing partner. Husband and wife team Mike Huggins and Lenka Juchelkova, who also own the Arvada Tavern, Kline’s Beer Hall, and the upcoming Tatarian, are thrilled to have Patz on their roster.
The change comes on the heals of another shift: Alex Daniluk, who has been with the Union Lodge team since the very beginning - over four years ago when they launched the Arvada Tavern- has stepped away from the management role and away from the group to pursue other opportunities. Daniluk will be bartending part time at Ste. Ellie as he looks into other options around town.
One other internal change at Union Lodge is the promotion of Colin Overett to a management role after a one year tenure behind the bar. The bar is located at 1543 Champa Street.
