Serving up their specialty chicken with Cane’s sauce and Texas toast, Raising Cane’s, the Southern style chain eatery announced it broke ground on its second of four Denver locations expected to open this year.

The first Highlands Ranch location is expected to be open for business July 6, while the Parker location is scheduled to open August 15, making 330 Raising Cane restaurants nationwide. A Centennial location will follow shortly thereafter.

Calling their fans "caniacs," the popular chicken finger brand known, for their fresh, never frozen bird serves what it calls a One Love meal. The secret recipe sauce is met with crinkle-cut French fries, coleslaw, freshly brewed sweet tea and fresh-squeezed lemonade.

Founded by Todd Graves in 1996 in Baton Rouge, the eatery was named for his yellow labrador, Raising Cane, the company grew rapidly.

The fried chicken joint also recently earned the distinction of being among the Top 5 quick-serve restaurant chains in the country for 2016.
