54thirty, a new rooftop patio bar, will open late this summer on the 20th floor of Le Méridien Hotel at 15th and California. The upcoming venue, named after the elevation it sits at, will be the highest open-air rooftop bar in the Front Range area, with great views of the Rocky Mountains.
With French-inspired décor and a mid-century modern style, matching that of its larger hotel brand, 54thirty hopes to bring a crowd that enjoy cool and loungy vibes, classic cocktails and small bites inspired by the hotel’s European roots. Le Méridien will also feature an additional restaurant, from a Michelin-star restaurant group, Corinne, which will feature elevated comfort food.
Hotels and their respective hot bars and restaurants seem to be all the rage in Denver. What started two and a half years ago with the Crawford, located in the stunningly renovated Union Station, home to Mercantile Dining & Provision and Stoic & Genuine, among others, continued with the addition of Halcyon, home to Departure and Quality Italian (plus speakeasy gem B&GC), and most recently The Maven, which houses Kachina Southwestern Grill and Poka Lola.
