Denver is poke crazy, and Chicago-based Aloha Poke Co. is the most recent addition to the scene. A fourteen-month-old company that currently had four locations in the Windy City, Aloha Poke will open an outpost at Zeppelin Station, a new 25,000 square foot multicultural food hall and office space. That project, set to open late this year, is located at 3501 Wazee Street, at the foot of a pedestrian bridge to the 38th Street Station of the A Line train to the Denver International Airport.
When Aloha Poke Co. opens, it will offer build-your-own style poke bowls, built on a base of rice or mixed greens, with a selection of sashimi-grade tuna, salmon, or tofu, finished with a variety of toppings from edamame and pineapple, to cucumber and avocado.
Before this new spot takes off, Denver will already be feasting on Hawaiian-inspired fare at Denver Poke Company and Poke House (both opening on Platte Street) and QuickFish Poke, opening inside Avanti Food & Beverage.
And if you want your poke now, head on over to one of these ten spots to get your fix.
Disclosure: The editor is married to one of the developers behind Zeppelin Station, the development in which Aloha Poke Co will reside.
