Joining a bevy of food operations migrating to the south metro Denver area, Urban Egg will be the next local eatery to open this June in the buzzing new Belleview Station development at 6750 E. Chenango Avenue.
Two large apartment complexes, MileHouse and The DEN – now 67 percent leased – anchor the new neighborhood and draw a strong retail base serving the Denver Tech Center.
The most recent announcements for foodies in the suburban community are all scheduled to open by mid-year, largely duplicates of popular downtown restaurants.
The additions include the a third location of Highland Tap’s signature neighborhood look and feel, great for grabbing a game, a beer and a gourmet burger. AMBLI, a strip mall stunner at 600 S. Holly Street will double down on its global food concept, featuring inspiration from France, the Middle East, Spain, Italy and more. Ken Wolf, who co-owns the RiNo born concept, Sushi-Rama along with chef Jeff Osaka will bring the second of his expanding conveyor belt sushi models to Belleview Station as well, later this year. The 2,600-square-foot space will seat 84 people and an additional 10 at the bar.
Tenants already open for business in the new development include Los Chingones, Troy Guard’s take on Mexican fare featuring unconventional ingredients and flavors, such as rattlesnake chorizo, and antelope-wild boar empanadas. Unlike the original RiNo location, the DTC outpost serves fresh oysters, shrimp, and ceviche. Backcountry Deli, Corvus Coffee and Crushed Red, a fast-casual pizza-pasta, are also up and running in the development.
