For one morning only on Wednesday, May 31, La Mar Doughnuts will be drone-delivering its creations to three locations in the downtown area, the Denver Post first reported. A drone, brought through a collaboration with Drone Dispatch, will usher sweet treats in a bag that can hold a dozen doughnuts from the 6th Avenue and Kalamath Street store to four scheduled locations.
- Main entrance of the Denver City and County Building (1437 Bannock St.) at 8:15 a.m.
- Denver Police Administration Building (1331 Cherokee St.) at 9 a.m.
- Denver Fire Department Headquarters (745 W. Colfax Ave.) at 10 a.m.
- 16th Street Mall between Champa and Stout streets from 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m.
Can’t be there at these times on Wednesday? You can win your own drone and other prizes through the sweepstakes held in all La Mar stores from May 29 through June 30. And if you’re too impatient for this month-long raffle, head to any La Mar location on National Doughnut Day Friday, June 2, to get a free doughnut. Some locations will also offer free coffee mugs with purchase, while supplies last.
