Boulder’s flagship Modern Market, opened eight years ago, announced the original location received a rejuvenating renovation, while the year-old Bronze Empire, an authentic Chinese eatery at 1591 S. Colorado Boulevard, will be closed from July 10 through August 7th for a makeover as well.
The team from Colorado-born Modern Market – the counter-service cafe with health-conscious salads and sandwiches – having learned about quality design upon opening 26 total restaurants nationally, decided to upgrade the aesthetic of their original location. Tempting guests to take a sneak peek inside and visit the newly remodeled space, they developed a short video illustrating the bright and inviting dining area, newly upholstered booths and a marble high-top community table in the center of the space. Digital menu boards located above the registers change the in-line ordering experience for guests to select their meals more efficiently and quickly learn of specials newly on the menu at any given time.
Meanwhile, The Bronze Empire received customer feedback and suggestions and opted to act upon the recommendations for an improved dining experience. The interior and exterior of the restaurant are scheduled for a makeover, as well as the menu and management. A grand re-opening is scheduled for August 8.
