With his second opening in just two weeks, Troy Guard’s ode to the most important meal of the day – HashTAG – comes to Stapleton’s Eastbridge development this Friday, July 7.
Designed by local architecture and interior design firm, LIVstudio, the 2,460-square-foot space is uses sunny hues with art installations and decorative cookware against soft wood elements. Whimsical and inviting, the 85-seat neighborhood eatery at 10155 East 29th Drive is anchored by large booths, nine swiveling retro stools pulled up to a diner-style countertop and a versatile banquette. The patio holds up to 25 guests during warm weather months.
Guard, alongside Executive Chef Brent Calley take a casual but creative approach to the morning meal, featuring variations on hash browns, green chili and hollandaise, and kimchi fried rice. Fresh baked pastries, “Cakes and Carbs,” and creative dishes such as the lamb neck Benedict are met with more health conscious, protein-rich items, like the 4-grain oatmeal. Guests can also find an array of traditional dishes, sandwiches such as the Rino ‘Wich, with medium eggs, pork sausage and Swiss cheese on a toasted house bun, or AM Tacos. The Loco Moco comes with TAG meatloaf, eggs, mushroom gravy, rice and kimchi, and the Ancient Chinese Secret Soup include chicken, ginger, cilantro and scallion.
Starting August 1, HashTAG’s “Rotisserie To-Go” program will be available Monday through Friday, offering brined, rubbed and rotisserie-cooked whole chickens and two daily sides for customers to take home.
HashTAG is open Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., and weekends from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
