The Kitchen Restaurant Group introduces its latest casual place

Adam Larkey

Named for the first farm where popular Boulder spot The Kitchen originally sourced its ingredients, Hedge Row a new casual restaurant from the same group, will dive into the Cherry Creek (100 Steele Street) food scene Monday, July 10.

A laid-back addition to The Kitchen Restaurant Group’s brand, the new American bistro will be focused on fresh, seasonal, high-quality food. The space is bright and light-filled, with mixes of woods and metals against white walls and colorful art accents.

The menu pays homage to the local food supply chain, featuring rustic dishes from a wood-fired oven that will be updated seasonally five times a year.

The all-day lunch and dinner menu includes mole braised short ribs with polenta and spring radish, wood-roasted lamb meatballs with spiced tomato sauce, feta and mint, trout with almond brown butter and celery, charred Chinese broccoli with caramelized lemon, chili and garlic. The “vegetable” section of Hedge Row’s menu include smoke roasted carrots — for dessert, check out the the cookie jar for the table. Favorites of The Kitchen that may look familiar on the new menu include the tomato soup, bolognese and sticky toffee pudding.

This is the first Hedge Row location to open with another scheduled in Indianapolis later this year.
