At the end of July, Element Kitchen & Cocktail, an eatery and bar conceived with help from celebrity chef John Tesar, opened its doors at 1134 Broadway. This first Denver restaurant from Element Hospitality, a team of individuals behind the successful Beer Park and Fizz Champagne Lounge in Las Vegas, among others, aims to be a “farm to table sports bar.”
The ownership team partnered with chef John Tesar, a four-time James Beard nominee and two-time Bravo Top Chef contestant, who is helping with both the menu and all back-of-house operations. Helping to maintain Tesar’s vision full-time are chef de cuisine Matt Wolf, previously of Beso Tapas + Wine (in Highlands Ranch) and Bent Fork Grill (in Fort Collins), and director of beverage Anthony Leyba, whose resume includes Green Russell, Linger, and Atticus.
The menu includes shareable boards like the Element Bacon Tasting Board, and already popular dishes like the Vietnamese-style grilled wings, a pimento cheeseburger, and avocado fries. Several gluten-free and vegetarian offerings are available.
