The Post Brewing Co. Plans a Spooky Opening Date in Boulder

The Post Brewing Co., based in Lafayette, plans to open a new location in the former Shine location in downtown Boulder. Before Shine, RedFish Brewhouse occupied the space.

Aside from a menu of Southern fare, The Post dishes out some of the best fried chicken, a Nashville hot version, meatloaf, cornmeal coated fried catfish and wood-fired pork shoulder. Every night features a blue-plate special such as Levi’s smoked pork ribs on Sundays, chicken pot pie on Wednesdays and chicken fried steak on Tuesdays. Each menu item comes with a recommended beer pairing.

In Lafayette, lunch, dinner, happy hour and a weekend brunch keep drinkers full. Live music fills out the entertainment.

Fans can expect to imbibe in beers and Southern grub starting Halloween weekend.

This marks The Post’s fourth location with posts in Longmont and Denver.

Fans of Shine Restaurant & Gathering Place’s organic, gluten-free kitchen need not fear; the health-conscious eatery makes the move one mile east to 2480 Canyon Blvd. Shine closes on Sept. 17.
