Where: Jax Fish House & Oyster Bar - LoDo
What: The decadent event pairs sparkling wine alongside international takes on oysters and caviar.

Denver HAHO Holiday Market
When: December 1
Where: Denver Handmade Homemade
What: The final handmade-homemade market of the year kicks off at the start of the month and includes goods from 25 local craftsmen in addition to a bar and build-your-own bloody mary and mimosa bar.

Miracle Bar Pop-Up
When: Now through December 23
Where: Avanti Food & Beverage
What: The popular, festive pop-up bar returns for a second year of Christmas-themed drinks, decorations, and shenanigans. The Instagram hotspot features walls decked out like presents and drinks like the Run Run Rudolph and Yippie Ki Yay Mother F***ker.
Additional Information: Miracle Bar reserves only 25 percent of its seats per night; the rest are open to walk-ins.

Impact Dinner at Comal
When: December 5 at 6 p.m.
Where: Comal Heritage Food Incubator
What: Chefs Tim Bender and Rosa Landa partner on a multi-course meal complete with wine and cocktail pairings. Planned courses include pipian de pollo frito and a consommé de res.

291 Repeal Day Party
When: December 5 at 9 p.m.
Where: Hearth & Dram
What: History and whiskey buffs can honor the 85th anniversary of the end of prohibition with a 1930s theme, Distillery 291 cocktails, and era-appropriate appetizers and costumes.

RiNo Holiday Bazaar
When: December 7 to 9
Where: Denver Bazaar, between 28th and 29th on Walnut Street
What: The weekend-long market and celebration features 100+ Colorado craftsmen, food trucks, fire pits, and festive drinks.

12 Days of Flea
When: December 7 through December 9; December 14 through 16
Where: Union Station
What: The 12 days of flea continues throughout December, and this year it’s a proper European-style Christmas market, nestled in the hubbub of Union Station. The market includes an array of holiday crafts, food, and cocktails from local vendors.

Drunk Christmas
When: December 14 and December 15 at 8 p.m.
Where: Fiction Beer Company and Grandma’s House
What: Denverites can sip on a beer and watch the Audacious Theatre actors attempt to perform a shortened and inebriated version of Dickens’ “A Christmas Carol.” After the show, audience members can also buy some goods at a bake sale and holiday fundraiser.

Denver Beer Festivus
When: December 15 starting at 2 p.m.
Where: Denver Sports Castle, 1000 Broadway
What: It’s time to air and drink away your grievances at the annual beer festival. Guests are encouraged to rock their most hideous holiday sweater, shop at a mini market, dance at the silent disco, and watch a Feats of Strength-style lucha libre wrestling. Featured food trucks include Baba’s Falafel, Dos Gringos, Billy’s Gourmet Hot Dogs, and the Pierogi Factory.

Ho Ho Ho Slapdown
When: December 16 at 1 p.m.
Where: Bierstadt Lagerhaus
What: The third annual competition pits seven local breweries against one another to see which seasonal beer would “smack even Santa right in the mouth.”
