Grandoozy announced its inaugural lineup on Tuesday, and it’s a stacked list of some of the world’s top artists (see headliners Kendrick Lamar, Florence + The Machine, and Stevie Wonder). But the music festival also will bring a sizeable list of “experiences” to Denver for the three-day event held in Overland Park from September 14 to 16. Superfly, who puts it on (and co-created Bonaroo), has tapped local Denver food and beverage experts for this part of the new project.

Dining options at Grandoozy will be created by “culinary ambassadors” from some of Denver’s well-known restaurants: Adam Schlegel of Snooze, Biju Thomas of Biju’s Little Curry Shop, Dana Faulk Query of Big Red F, Jeff Suskin of DiningOut, Justin Cucci of El Five and more, Carrie Baird of Bar Dough, Jen Jasinski of Rioja and more, and Tommy Lee of Hop Alley and Uncle. No word yet on the exact format of these offerings, but festival-goers can expect bites from the chefs, including vegan and vegetarian options.

Drinks at Grandoozy also will be more than the typical concert fare, including local beers, spirits, and cocktails. The Colorado Brewers Guild is handling beer selections for the festival. CBG operations director Steve Kurowski will spearhead this aspect of the event, and attendees will be able to sample regional brews “while surrounded by beautiful local art,” according to the festival website. For the spirits, Chad Michael George of the Colorado Bartenders Guild will be putting together flights and cocktails. Craft distillers from Denver and elsewhere in Colorado will be represented.

Stay tuned for updates on the festival.
